Bowls of Fruit

APS Gallery presents The Open: Bowls of Fruit.

The bowl of fruit has been a source of inspiration from the 16th and 17th century. Offering artists a way to hone their skills (especially painting and drawing) with objects that remain still and don’t move, it’s a traditional subject that is frequently taught and allows for experimentation.

This exhibition celebrates paintings and sculptures that showcase fruit, flowers and bowls. So, come and see our still life arrangements!

““Bowls of Fruit” take me back to the summer when I was a student. Keeping the original intention, I am really glad I can have a chance to be a part of this exhibition. Thanks APS for hosting this amazing exhibition.” Uva, The Open: Bowls of Fruit Artist
